Dr. Nolano is a thought leader in the surgical treatment of breast cancer and has presented her work at multiple meetings and symposiums on the topic. In 2016, Dr. Nolano presented research findings on surgical technique and utilization of imaging modalities in breast cancer at various conferences including the Society of Surgical Oncology Annual Cancer Symposium in March 2016, the American Society of Breast Surgeons in April 2016 and the Conjoint meeting of the Philadelphia Academy of Surgeons in April 2016. In December 2016 she will present at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium on SAVI SCOUT, a cutting edge breast cancer localization technique which she hopes to trial at Abington Hospital.
Previously, Dr. Nolano presented at the ARIG Symposium in Paris in 2006 on chlamydia pneumonia. Dr. Nolano has authored and co-authored publications on both the surgical treatment of breast cancer and the treatment of chlamydia pneumonia. She has extensive leadership experience and has volunteered and mentored for a variety of causes.
